Special Visitors

A few weeks ago Dan & I drove up to my parents’ house because my grandparents had flown in from Vancouver. Thankfully, Dan’s baseball scheduled was flexible enough for both of us to go up for a visit. While we were there we celebrated my Grandmother’s birthday:

I hope I look as good as she does when I’m 75!

Dan & I got her an engraved bracelet from Things Remembered which we thought she could wear on days that she dressed up, such as church. She loved it & ended up wearing it the rest of the evening. =)

It was great to be able to spend some time with my grandparents; they live so far away so we don’t get to see them very often.

  We love & miss you Grandma & Grandpa T.

Shoe of the Month ~ May

I'm so sorry for posting this month's shoe 3 days late - I'm going to chalk it up to this beautiful weather that we've been having; I've been running outside & taking Lexi for nice long walks after work. =) Yes, a great excuse!

Now to get on with it - this month I decided to continue with another casual sandal. Since Dan & I are going to Jamaica at the end of this month (super excited!) I've purchased a pair of these in anticipation of our trip:

Fringe Thong Sandal by Madden Girl. I purchased the coral ones; unfortunately, they are all sold out of the brown & white colors. These sandals look super comfy & if you have feet like I do, then the wedge will be much more comfortable than walking around in flats all day. I absolutely love the fringe accent.
